Warranty Policies
NFAFCO provides comprehensive warranties for its wide range of products to ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability. Our warranty coverage is as follows:
- Fire-rated doors: 5 years
- Shaft doors: 3 years
- Fire hydrants: 3 years
- Fire extinguishers, including automatic tubing fire extinguishers: 5 years
- Prefabricated fire pipelines: 10 years
- Fire hose boxes and cabinets: 3 years
- Electrical panels and MCC panels: 5 years
NFAFCO warrants the original purchaser of fire protection products manufactured by NFAFCO, and to anyone to whom the products are sold or transferred, that the equipment shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for one year from the date of invoice.
NFAFCO’s obligation under this warranty is specifically limited to replacing or repairing the equipment, which is shown, through examination carried out by NFAFCO personnel or authorized dealers, to be defective due to NFAFCO’s material or workmanship. To qualify for this limited warranty, the claimant must contact NFAFCO or an authorized dealer in writing, within a reasonable time after discovering the defect, describing the condition. If necessary, the claimant must return the equipment to NFAFCO or the authorized dealer, who will facilitate its return to NFAFCO. NFAFCO will inspect the equipment and, if it is determined that the defect is attributable to material or workmanship, NFAFCO will repair or replace the equipment under warranty
NFAFCO shall have no obligation under this warranty if the equipment has been misused, neglected (including failure to provide reasonable maintenance), involved in accidents, or repaired or altered by unauthorized parties. In such cases, customers are responsible for prepaying freight for the return of the product if desired. NFAFCO’s liability shall not exceed the sale price of the product.
